General Order and Shipping Information.

QUICK SHIP- WE HAVE A POLICY OF QUICK SHIPPING OF SOME  ITEMS THE SAME DAY FOR NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING PREMIUM. THESE ARE LIMITED ITEMS AND SHOULD BE CONFIRMED THRU YOUR REPRESENTATIVE.

FREIGHT SHIPPING VARIES WITH ITEM, BUT MOST WILL GO OUT IN 1-3 WEEKS. CALL TO VERIFY ALL PRICES.  


1. COUNTING BOXES-  ON DELIVERY: Open boxes right away and inspect the items. Confirm box count before signing. Check your boxes for damage before signing! Any claim for Exchange or Refund for any reason must be called in within 48 hours of receipt. DO NOT sign for more boxes than you receive. Daycare Universe can not be responsible for missing or damaged boxes if you sign for them. Sign only for the exact number of boxes received.

2. INSPECT CARTONS & SIGN DRIVERS PAPERWORK ACCORDINGLY-
Completely inspect all boxes "top to bottom". Note any damage on drivers paperwork "Before Signing". Unfortunately, we have little control over a given drivers' attitude or delivery technique. Please note how driver unloads your merchandise. If you receive unsatisfactory service from a driver, get his full name and call us to report him. Refuse any boxes you see thrown from the truck or dropped while unloading. You may accept those boxes when noted on the drivers records and you retain a copy. If you want to be extra protected against getting damaged goods, sign for all shipments as "Possible Internal Damage." This will allow us to immediately issue replacements and remove damaged items from your property. NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT If you will not be there to receive your shipments, take the extra time to train your back-up to handle your business when you are absent!  You may request that your order be held to ship on an appropriate day to suit your needs.

3. EXCHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS -  Any Exchange or Refund for any reason must be called in within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise! Don't wait! Any reports of damage must be reported within 48 hours. Daycare Universe has the full right to refuse any order from any individual for any reason. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing the order, but may still  be subject to a re-stocking fee. After attempts are made to deliver more than 3 times, the the stock will be returned and  shipping costs will be re-charged for the next delivery attempt. 

4. DELIVERY AND WHO TO CALL-  All orders are drop-shipped from the manufacturer and can take between 1 and 6 weeks.  Check your boxes for damage before signing!  If there is a problem with your delivery, always call  promptly! Don't wait! Any reports of damage must be reported within 48 hours. Call us at 931-823-9003 promptly. Our customer service team will make your problem a priority.

5. INSIDE DELIVERY & LIFT GATE SERVICES-
UPS, Fed Ex, and small package carriers will deliver your order inside (1st Floor Only). Trucking companies do not send trucks with lift gates or take merchandise inside unless contracted to do so before hand. If you require an inside delivery, please call 931-823-9003 for a quote. Certain delivery companies may charge the customer a nominal fee for delivery outside of a commercial business district. This is not a fee constituted by us and we do not profit from it. Customer and trucking co. should resolve this matter between them. We encourage them to call before the delivery attempt but they have not always done as we asked.

6. TELEPHONE AND FAXED ORDERS ONLY-    You will easily and safely place your order with personalized telephone service. Sources say 30% of the orders placed thru on-line transactions are unsafe and ripe for credit card fraud. Don't take a chance. Order on our secure phone line with an authorized customer service representative.  If desired you can also fax your order after calling for a dedicated fax line for instant attention. Instant quotes  and emailed invoices also available. You can find a Printable Order Form to assist you in your ordering. Purchase Orders are gladly received and processed.
